The School-Based Health Alliance of Arkansas (SBHAA) and the Arkansas Department of Education are co-sponsoring the School Health Spring Symposium, which will be held April 16, at the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Office, located at 2301 South University Avenue, Little Rock, Arkansas.
The symposium is designed to provide current information and essential tools for all individuals working to implement wellness and prevention strategies in the school setting.
The agenda includes a keynote session provided by Arkansas’ Surgeon General, Dr. Joe Thompson, as well as an outstanding slate of presentations from experts to provide in-depth information on topics including school crisis planning and intervention, as well as childhood preventative care in the areas of behavioral and physical health strategies.
