Report Card
Each year, the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) publishes a Performance Report of the state’s schools. This online report provides information about each school, district and the state, including test performance, teacher qualification, retention, discipline and much more. It is designed to help open the lines of communication between schools, parents and the local community.
To access information regarding a specific school, visit the NORMES School Performance website:
- Click on the word School on the grey toolbar at the top of the screen
- In the search box type part of the school name until the school you want is listed
- Click on the school name in the list
- Click the Go button
School and District Tabs
The School and District tabs, located at the top-right of the screen of the NORMES School Performance site, have drop-down menus that list several options for viewing data. Those options include:
Dashboard - Provides a snapshot of indicators for the selected school, and contact information that includes a map and directions
Improvement - Lists information relating to the school's Adequate Yearly Progress status
Report Card - Includes data on school or district academic performance
Print Center - Allows you to download a printer-friendly version of the Report Card. The Print Center contains a section on Understanding the Report Card, State Report Card or School Report Card.
Achievement - Displays graphs, tables and percentages relating to the four performance classes: Below Basic, Basic, Proficient and Advanced and the subgroups of students at the school
ESEA Accountability Reports - Gives you access to individual School Accountability Reports. An instruction guide for accessing individual reports is available here.
Search and Compare Tab
This tab allows you to search for schools, within a selected county, or a district based on school size, free and reduced lunch percentage, attendance rate, graduation rate and district expenditure. You also have the option to filter your search based on elementary, middle or high school grade levels.
Resources Tab
Archives - Provides links to archived Report Cards at the School, District and state levels that contain school, district and state information from prior years, including some schools and districts prior to consolidation or annexation.
Data Downloads - Download school ratings for Gains or Status
