This collection of resources will aid in furthering understanding of the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics (CCSSM) and its implementation in Arkansas.

Understanding the Standards

Common Core Arkansas is an informative video about the Common Core State Standards (CCSS).

The Council of the Great City Schools has produced a Three-Minute Video Explaining the CCSS.
  •  

The Common Core State Standards for Mathematics (CCSSM), as adopted by the Arkansas Department of Education, can be found at http://www.corestandards.org.  This site has many resources for understanding and implementing the CCSSM:

Supporting Learning

Common Core at Work is a video about the implementation of the Common Core State Standards in Arkansas.
  •  

In addition to the CCSSM, the Arkansas State Board of Education adopted numerous other curriculum framework documents, including several specific to mathematics, based primarily on the CCSS.
  •  

ADE has also produced a Refrigerator Curriculum that parents can use to support classroom instruction.
