Add a Degree
To add a degree to your current educator license, complete the Educator Licensure Application form, checking off that you are adding a degree.
Attach an official transcript reflecting the degree being added (or) have the college/university to send the transcript to the Office of Educator Licensure.
Request a Lifetime Educator License
The Lifetime Educator License may be requested when an educator is 62 years old by submitting a completed and signed Educator Licensure Application to the Office of Educator Licensure, providing written verification of educational experience and completing the required State Police, FBI and Child Maltreatment Central Registry background checks.
The Lifetime Educator License is FREE!
There is no fee for the lifetime educator license.
Request a Duplicate Educator License
A duplicate of your educator license may be obtained by submitting an Educator Licensure Application form to the Office of Educator Licensure requesting the duplicate license.
There is currently at $50 fee for a duplicate license.
The fee for these licenses can be paid online (or) you can attach a money order or cashier’s check (NO CASH PLEASE) to the application for the correct fee made out to the Arkansas Department of Education.
