Fiscal and Administrative Services
The Fiscal and Administrative Services Division (Division) provides leadership, service, and professional support to the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE), public school districts, charter schools, education service cooperatives, local, state, and federal agencies, and the public. The Division promotes uniform coding, fiscally sound, efficient, and effective financial systems for public education. The Division consists of seven units that monitors various state and federal fiscal programs; calculates and distributes funding, monitors fiscal and financial stability, provides guidance on policies, rules and regulations, and prepares statistical data and financial reports. The Division also directs, coordinates, and develops the ADE’s legislative budget requests and associated amendments to laws, procedures, and policies regarding education finance.
