2008 Master School Principals

Debbie Heath
Debbie Heath

Debbie Heath has been an educator in Arkansas for 24 years. She graduated from Arkansas State University in 1977 with a BSE in elementary education and special education and became certified in middle school English. She taught English at the junior high level and first grade, and special education at the elementary level.

In 1998, Heath obtained her MSE from Arkansas State University in educational administration. She became assistant principal at Wynne Intermediate School, and served in this position for three years before becoming principal of Wynne Primary School, where she has worked for seven years. 

During the time she has been principal, her school has been a leader in the Arkansas Reading First Initiative.

Roger Hill
Roger Hill


Roger Hill
has been principal at Kirksey Middle School in Rogers since 1996. He holds a BSE in mathematics from John Brown University. Hill also earned both a master's degree and doctorate in educational administration from University of Arkansas.

His previous experience includes serving as a math teacher at Westwood Junior High School in Richardson, Texas, and as an assistant principal at Ramay Junior High School in Fayetteville. In 2002, Hill was recognized as both Arkansas Middle School Principal of the Year and a National Distinguished Principal .
